I'd rather catch you mid-laugh than ask you to hold a smile. That's the whole idea behind my work — warm, natural, unposed photographs that look like a memory, not a pose.
I shoot all across Central Virginia, from downtown and the UVA grounds to the vineyards and mountain roads near Crozet. I specialize in family sessions, couples and engagements, and portraits — including the spontaneous stranger shoots I love so much.

On the day I keep things loose and playful — easy prompts, real movement, lots of laughing. Even camera-shy folks relax fast.
Within a week or two you'll get a private gallery of warm, true-to-life edited images you can print, frame, and share.
